Facilities energy management

The tuning of a building, industrial plant or facility is based on adjusting the energy consumption to the energy demand by fine-tuning and adjusting its instrumentation and control systems.

Many commercial buildings have control and building management systems that offer room for improvement in their commissioning, regulation and management. Defects in operation and maintenance lead to inefficiencies, lack of comfort, shortening of the equipment life and an increase of energy consumption.

The systematic process to identify and correct the operational problems that generate energy losses is developed through the correct regulation of the building control systems and the adjustment of the different consumer systems. Many of the solutions to these problems and inefficiencies are low-cost operational and control improvements.
